6 Asian Restaurants to Visit in Fargo, ND

Jade Dragon has some of the best Chinese and Vietnamese food in the Fargo area. Their legendary pho is a local favorite, and it’s packed full of meat, noodles, and vegetables. All the entrees are well-prepared and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The fried rice and the egg foo young are both excellent choices. Other popular dishes include the egg rolls and the pho. The prices are reasonable with generous portion sizes, with noodle bowls that are often large enough for two servings.

 Jade Dragon has many vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, and the fried tofu always leaves customers craving more. You’ll find Jade Dragon at 1015 Main Ave. in Fargo. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sundays. 

Himalayan Yak

Upon your first visit, Himalayan Yak may immediately become your favorite Indian restaurant. Himalayan Yak features authentic Nepali and Indian cuisines. Most menu items are vegetarian, although they do have a selection of meat entrees. One of the popular meat dishes is the Himalayan Mixed Grill, which consists of chicken, lamb, and beef kabobs. Tikka Masala, which is tender meat in a creamy tomato sauce, is highly praised by customers. Everything is delicious, like the many varieties of naan, the tender lamb dishes, and the chai tea.

Everest Tikka House

For authentic Nepali and Indian cuisine, try Everest Tikka House. Some of the most popular selections include the pakora, chicken makhani, and chicken tikka masala. The menu has a selection of lamb and goat specialties as well as seafood options with shrimp, salmon, or tilapia. Additionally, there are rice and noodle dishes as well as a large selection of vegetarian entrees.

Sirirath Thai House

Sirarath Thai House is a newcomer to the local restaurant scene, opening in 2020 in West Fargo. Nittaya Braziunas, the owner who was born and raised in Thailand, decided Fargo needed a Thai restaurant. The talented head chef, also born in Thailand, has over 30 years of Thai cooking experience. Thai cuisine emphasizes a combination of delicious flavors and aromas and stimulates all five taste senses of sweet, sour, hot, salty, and neutral. 

Recommendations to try are chicken satay, tom kha (coconut soup) and pad Thai. The avocado salad with ginger dressing and curry puffs are delicious choices, as well. Customers appreciate that you can choose your level of heat on a scale from one to five when ordering from the menu.

The comfortable decor, lighting, and atmosphere make Sirirath Thai House an enjoyable environment for lunch or dinner. There are casual dining, drive-through, or delivery options. Business hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Sirirath Thai House is located at 749 23rd Ave. East in West Fargo.

Le’s Banh Mi

“Banh Mi” means bread in Vietnamese, which is where this sandwich shop derives its name. The authentic Vietnamese sandwiches at Le’s Banh Mi are on a crispy French roll and filled with fresh, delicious ingredients. There are a wide variety of choices and cold or hot sandwich options.

In addition to sandwiches, Le’s Banh Mi has sides like egg rolls, spring rolls, sticky rice balls, and tempura shrimp. Vietnamese fries are also available, shaken with Vietnamese phomai. There are noodle bowls with options like grilled pork, beef, or chicken or vegetarian noodles. One of the restaurant’s most popular dishes is pho, the delicious Vietnamese soup, which you can order vegetarian-style or with chicken, beef, or shrimp.
